Five years and counting
Middle Georgia red clay does not drain like sand.
Water that would soak away somewhere else sits on top of it, which is a large part of why so much of this trade in Houston County is drainage rather than watering. One back yard with a standing-water problem got an underground pump system dug in, and the crew put the ground back so well that no reseeding was ever needed. Five years on, the pump is still running.
It is not only residential yards, either. The same crew plants and maintains commercial grounds too, rock beds, clipped boxwood, loropetalum, crape myrtle and ornamental grasses set against a stacked-stone building, the kind of work most residential-only outfits in the area cannot show.
